70 Students, 6 Schools, One Inspiring Day: The NHEHS Astrophysics & Computing Conference
Earlier this month we welcomed 70 brilliant Year 12 students from six schools for a day of innovation, exploration, and collaboration at our Astrophysics and Computing Conference.
Our keynote speaker, Professor Mark Handley (UCL, Networks Research Group), kicked off the day with a fascinating talk: “Space Internet and Supercomputers with OpenAI” – inspiring students to think big about the future of tech and space.
The day continued with an exciting inter-school competition across three challenge areas:
Physics
Computing
