Year 7s were tasked with writing letters to their favourite authors as part of the independent summer reading unit in English.

Olivia so enjoyed reading Michael Morpurgo’s books that she wrote to him about Private Peaceful and The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips. And to her huge surprise, he wrote back thanking her with his recommendations on what to read next!

Thank you, Michael!
