We staged our first ever Rock and Pop night this week. The line up featured Vox Show Choir, a number of bands and soloists. The evening began with some impressive drum performances from Kaira and Iyla, before Arabella and Layla sang songs by Ellie Goulding and Adele. In the second half, Salem performed Alicia Keys accompanied by Arabella on electric violin, Katerina on keys, Georgia on bass and Emma on drumkit. The Year 8 and 9 bands then performed tracks by Wheatus and Radiohead before Percussion ensemble with guest singer Anahita and bassist Georgia performed 90s classics from Radiohead and Massive Attack. The show ended with audience favourite ‘Living on Prayer’ from the Year 7/8 Rock band.

A huge well done to all involved and a massive thank you to Drums and Percussion teacher Ben Gale on organising and teching the event.
