"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

A Week of Triple Sporting Success in Regional Netball, Cricket & Waterpolo!

We are thrilled to share news of three amazing sporting successes over the past week!

NHEHS U16 Netballers are Regional Champions!

Last Sunday, our U16 netballers took part in the regional round of England Netball’s National Schools competition at Shirley High School in Croydon. Having qualified from the Middlesex County round last term, the team of Year 10 and 11s took on the best schools netball teams in London and the South East. The Under 16s won six out of their seven matches and were clear winners with 31 points once all matches were completed. As Regional Champions, our U16s will be playing at Nationals on March 11th at Oundle School, Northamptonshire.

Huge congratulations to Iris C, Addy M-S, Amelia C, Morven P, Ella M, Hope G, Eliza H, Sophia M, Julia B, Jasmine De RR, Georgia C, Jaspreet G and Dana N!

NHEHS U12 and U13 Teams are Lady Taverners Indoor Cricket Champions!

On 24th January our U12 cricketers travelled to Lord’s for the annual Lady Taverners tournament against the best schools in Middlesex. Our U12A team won all their matches beating Godolphin & Latymer A, Putney High A, Latymer and St Paul’s Girls A to be crowned winners of the competition, continuing our success at the U12 level having won the same competition in 2022. Congratulations to Nishka P, Romilly C, Aila A, Jess E, Lana G, Lara V-H, Anishka G and Nikhita S!

A few days later our U13 team returned to Lord’s for their age-group tournament, where they too were victorious, beating Francis Holland SW, Lady Margaret’s, Godolphin & Latymer B and St Paul’s Girls School B. To work out first place overall, the runrate was calculated – NHEHS had the higher runrate (by 0.7), and thus were crowned champions! Well done to Lilly B, Romilly C, Hannah D, Joanna D, Manpreet G, Noushi H, Annika K, and Elizabeth O-T on a great day of cricket!

Seven NHEHS Waterpolo Players Selected for the Swim England Croydon Area Talent Centre!

Huge congratulations to Zoe, Zara, Amelia, Evie & Jaspreet who made the U16 squad and Manpreet & Iskra who made the U14 squad for the Swim England Croydon Area Talent Centre! This is an NHEHS first and we are all very proud!
