We are very proud of Year 13 Alex who has been competing for Great Britain in the European Ice Swimming Championships in Molveno, Italy this week!

On the very first day of competition she swam in the 50m backstroke and 100m fly, making the final in both events and set a new GB age group record for both!

Despite a 15cm snowfall and water temperatures of just 1.4 C, Alex also reached the final in the 100m backstroke & competed in the 50m fly and the 200m Individual Medley.

A huge well done to Alex as one of the youngest swimmers in the competition & for juggling her A levels and UCAS too!
