American and International Universities Evening Explores Global Opportunities
We were delighted to welcome Aida Rocci from UES Education to NHEHS for our annual American and International Universities Information Evening, open to Year 9 pupils and their parents.
It was wonderful to see interest from students across the year groups, including those exploring sport-related pathways.
UES Education are sector leaders and long-standing partners of NHEHS, supporting our students with applications to the USA and beyond. Aida shared her expert insights into the breadth of opportunities available in the United States, and the wider international landscape. She will return in early December to give 1:1 advice sessions (bookable with Mrs Collins), helping students refine their university shortlists.
We were also joined by Emily Baker from Sporting Elite USA which explores specialist sports routes to US universities. A competitive rower who studied in the USA herself, Emily was able to share her valuable insight into navigating American sports pathways.
Our Director of Universities, Mrs Collins, outlined the support NHEHS provides for students applying internationally. She highlighted our impressive alumnae currently studying abroad, including at Caltech, Cornell, University of Michigan, McGill, University of Melbourne, Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, NYU and the University of Madrid.
At NHEHS, we provide comprehensive guidance for international applications, including support with personal essays, letters of recommendation and the Common App process. We look forward to continuing to expand the international opportunities available to our students as they explore higher education across the globe.
