Our annual Singers’ Concert has become a much-anticipated highlight of the school calendar, showcasing the talent, dedication and enthusiasm of our singers. The concert, which took place on June 30th,  featured outstanding performances from our soloists, Vox Show Choir and A Cappella ensemble.

Each half of the concert opened and closed with performances from Vox Show Choir, who impressed the audience with a varied and challenging repertoire. Singing entirely from memory and in up to six-part harmony. Our soloists performed with great assurance and energy, bringing heartfelt expression and personality to each of their songs. Highlights included Neve’s version of ‘Tomorrow’ from Annie, Sara’s emotive rendition of ‘On my mind’ and Prestina singing ‘Losing my mind’ from Follies to name but a few. A Cappella, led by Year 11 student Anahita, delivered a fantastic performance of a jazz mash-up featuring her own original arrangements.

The evening was expertly directed by Rachel Munro, NHEHS Singing Teacher, with wonderful accompaniment from Jozef Janik on piano and Ben Gale on drums. Congratulations to all who took part.
