“Pupils of all ages demonstrate a love of learning and a desire to develop their aptitudes and interests.”

- ISI Report 2025

"We believe that Sixth Form should be the most interesting, enriching and academically demanding years of your school life. Each year, pupils join us with the intellectual spark and curiosity to take advantage of everything NHEHS has to offer, and leave with the drive and determination for their next adventure."

"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Charities Update for March 2025

Our Charities and Volunteering Team were delighted to share their February Charities Newsletter just before half term where you can read about all the initiatives from January and February.

This half term the year group fundraising focus turns to Year 8 who began planning their events this week. They will be voting shortly to decide on their charity.

We continue to support the Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter. Several NHEHS families cooked for the shelter on March 2nd and we had a wonderful message from St Mary’s, Acton to say thank you and how lovely the food was.

Yesterday we celebrated World Book Day with our traditional dress up day, with students and staff bringing in a donation for Book Aid International.

Looking ahead:

Sport Relief

We are delighted to support Sport Relief this year with a Rowathon. This will be held on Friday 21st March and there will be opportunities to row before school, break, lunch and after school. We are hoping to row the length of the UK! So, we would like to get as many students and staff involved as possible.

Care4Calais

There will be more visits to the Care4Calais hostel in Hayes where our volunteers will be running activities and games with the children. We will also be running our popular Easter Egg collection for the charity too.  Our next visit is scheduled for Thursday 13th March and then again at the end of March to give out the Easter Eggs.

Volunteering

Year 10 will be helping out in Junior School (leading a science craft in North Ealing Primary School) for Science Week. We are also hoping to run our annual Easter Mencap Fair, organised by our Year 10 enrichment groups.

Thank you for your continued support!
