Conducting Workshop with Blossom Street and Professional Choral Conductor

On Monday we ran the second workshop of the year with professional choral conductor, Hilary Campbell, and four members of her choir, Blossom Street. Scholars in Years 9-12 had prepared an array of pieces to conduct including Bruckner and Parry. It was fantastic to see the progression of students, from those who were in their 2nd year of the project to those who only began conducting a few months ago. Hilary commented on the ‘significant progress’ the girls had made since October.
In the summer term, older scholars will run one of the school ensembles, conducting pieces in the Summer Concert.
