Year 7 bonding day

Countdown to Giving Day 2026

We are much looking forward to our second Giving Day which runs for 36 hours on 30th June and 1st July. On our Giving Day, we invite our whole community to focus on our bursary programme and consider making a gift to ensure that girls with the talent but not the means can access our school.

‘Being born into a disabled, immigrant household with no income meant that a private education was far out of reach. University wasn’t the kind of goal that the women in my family are expected to have. Without the confidence I gained attending school here, I wouldn’t have been able to make the most of all of the opportunities that now lie at my feet. Now, I’m working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences and hopefully my Master’s and my Doctorate are to come.’

From welly throwing to row-athlon, word sprints to our own NHEHS Taskmasters, on our Giving Day all our girls from Reception upwards will be putting the fun into fundraising as we work together to protect and celebrate the diversity of our community and enable more young women to learn without limits here at NHEHS.

If you wish to sponsor your daughter’s Year Group activity/challenge – only one family per year group can do this and Year 1 is already taken with a bid of £1500! – please contact our Development Manager, Molly Tollit, on m.tollit@nhehs.gdst.net by tomorrow, Tuesday 6pm. Highest bidder in each year group wins!

Alternatively, if you wish to learn more about our Giving Day and/or make a gift early please visit: https://givingday.nhehs.gdst.net/coming-soon/ . All gifts of whatever size are much appreciated. We need just 18 more gifts before next Tuesday and an extra £1000 is unlocked!

If you have any questions, please contact Molly on m.tollit@nhehs.gdst.net

Everyone makes a difference.
