"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

First Ever Year 7 Maths Enrichment Afternoon

By Dr Li

On 25th June, our school hosted its first ever Year 7 Maths Enrichment Afternoon, organised by the Advanced Maths Support Programme (AMSP). The event saw participation from our students and several local schools (All Saints Catholic College, Avanti House School, The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School, Chelsea Academy, Drayton Manor, Northolt High, Preston Manor School), providing a platform for collaboration and friendly competition.

The afternoon featured a carousel of maths-related activities and a relay. Pupils were engaged in solving maths puzzles during the carousel, working on their problem-solving skills and teamwork. In the relay, there was noticeable excitement as they raced to solve problems and build the longest dragon. Our team, consisting of Margot S, Mylene W, Kassie H and Isla B, excelled at magic squares, showed brilliant lateral thinking and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon of maths.
