In the final week of term, our Art Reps and Dept were excited to host our annual Charity Fashion Show. Our theme this year was Masterpiece: Art into Fashion and for 2026 we decided to support the charity Dress for Success. This charity empowers unemployed and underemployed women by providing career coaching, skills training, professional clothing, and ongoing support. By helping women secure employment and build confidence, Dress for Success promotes long-term financial independence and social mobility.

The Art Department is immensely proud of the girls’ dedication and drive in bringing this year’s fashion show to life. Primarily a student-led initiative, our Art Representatives have created a platform for girls across all year groups to showcase their creativity, all while raising vital funds for a worthy cause.

Year 9s impressed with their own interpretations of the theme each group creating a vibrant array of wearable art pieces. By using recycled clothing, the students have developed bold, colourful outfits that emphasise geometric forms, structure, and surface pattern, drawing on the principles of Cubism, exploring fragmentation, perspective and viewpoints.
