"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

In the Careers Spotlight – Alumna Sukhi Randhawa

A huge thank you to alumna Sukhi Randhawa, CFA, who came back to NHEHS on Tuesday 28 June to speak to the Sixth Form as part of our Careers Spotlight series. Sukhi is an Investment Strategist at Willis Towers Watson in London and talked to our students about her career journey since her time at NHEHS, her maths degree at UCL, her different roles in her career so far, including her experience being the only female Punjabi director at her global investment firm, what investment management is and what she does on a day-to-day basis. Sukhi explained the increasingly important role of Environmental, Social, and Governance investing and the drive for more diversity in the investment industry.

Sukhi shared her top tips with students including following what interests you for your degree, not having to have read maths to get into investment management, keeping an open mind at all times about what you think a job or career path involves and nurturing your networks from as early as possible.  She also had time for a catch up with Mr Quarmby (pictured) and Mrs Critcher from the Maths Department at NHEHS.

Thank you again to Sukhi for sharing her time and expertise with us.
