It’s the NHEHS Staff & 6th Form Panto! (Oh, Yes It Is!)
By Dr Pearce, Head of Sixth Form
On the 27th January, we will be entertained by staff and Year 13 students in the first school Panto for a number of years. The performance will be a retelling of Alice in Wonderland, where she resolves to help a poor distressed White Rabbit find his missing homework before the Queen of Hearts (and her executioner) find him. We’ll be joining Alice on her journey through the wild and wonderful lessons of the teachers of Snotting Ill and Bleeding Eyeballs School for Delinquent Daydreamers, where she’ll have confusing chemistry lessons, galling geography lessons, and a singalong with the cool kids from the music department. Oh, no, she won’t.
The show is being put on for the entertainment of all year groups. We are also using the event to raise money for our sixth form charity ‘Meningitis Now’ and we hope that if it is enjoyed that the students will put a few coins into the bucket on the way out.
