"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Junior School Class Art Exhibition Raises £1800 for Parents’ 150th Anniversary Bursary Appeal

By Mrs Tollit, Development Manager

On Friday 17th March over eighty parents and children visited the Junior School Class Art Exhibition in the Recital Hall, held to raise funds for the Parents’ 150th Anniversary Bursary Appeal. Over tea and cakes, the girls showed their collective creativity and talent in a variety of different media including photographic collages of tiny hands, giant wings of a parrot, and a ‘Sunflowers’ where Van Gogh met Chuck Close!

The Auction raised an amazing £1803! Thank you to all those who came to the exhibition and particularly those who bid so generously. All the proceeds are going directly towards our target of a new, transformational bursary, exclusively from our current parents, as a philanthropic ‘big birthday’ gift to the school. You can see more of our Junior artists and their artwork over on our Junior School Instagram here and here!

If you would like to join the many who have already given their support, sign up to the 1% method by simply completing a short Google form here or make a single donation online click here.

Thank you for your consideration. Every One Makes A Difference.
