Junior & Senior Students Present Ideas at West London Sustainability Summit
By Mrs Cassar, Environment and Sustainability Lead
On Tuesday, 1st July, five students across the Junior and Senior School attended a trip to the International School of London to attend the West London Sustainability Summit hosted by Sustainability Education and Oaklands Primary School. The students were given the opportunity to hear from a variety of people within the industry including Nirvana Yarger (a GDST alumni) from the Ministry of Eco Education, Hannah Bowring from Let’s Go Zero and the Eco Club at Elthorne High School. Our girls were given the opportunity to engage with conversations surrounding sustainability whilst networking with other local schools, businesses and council members.
Each of the girls presented their ideas for Notting Hill and Ealing High School, which we hope to implement in the future.
