The English Department’s Lit and Lang Society met for a special Book Week session on the theme ‘Books that changed my life’.

Over cakes in the Library, English subject reps, teachers, and younger students came together to talk about the books that have shaped us. Some fascinating personal stories emerged about how reading has shaped our perspectives, attitudes, interests, and even our friendships and relationships.

It was a wonderful session, demonstrating that books really can change your life!
