As an all-through girls school for pupils from primary school at age 4 through to our Sixth Formers aged 18, we aim to inspire, empower and challenge each girl to be herself. Our students are grounded, confident and independent, keen to make a positive difference in the world. They are proud of their school and value kindness and laughter, fun and friendship. Here they enjoy being part of a warm, supportive and vibrant community, where they can express their passion for learning, and for life.

Notting Hill & Ealing is always full of  lively, happy girls, all engaged in learning. A recent Good Schools Guide review highlighted the Junior School as a “forward-thinking, buzzy environment with an ‘informal, happy vibe’ and a ‘multitude of opportunities’ for bright girls who are keen to learn.”

Our Junior School provision includes specialist teaching in Modern Foreign Languages, Science, Music, Art and Sport. In addition to facilities at our Junior School site on St Stephen’s Road, Ealing, our prep school pupils also have access to state of the art facilities at our Senior School on Cleveland Road. We were delighted to welcome back NHEHS alumna Dr Rupa Huq MP for a special Junior School assembly earlier this week!

She shared fascinating insights about life in the Houses of Parliament and what it’s like to represent our local community.

Afterwards, our School Councillors (Years 1–6) and House Captains (Year 6) met Dr Huq in the library to discuss the issues that matter most to us, including equal pay for women, a topic last year’s Year 3s had written to her about.

A big thank you to Dr Huq, for inspiring us and showing how every voice can make a difference.

💛 Last Saturday, 23 girls from Year 6, along with some sisters from other year groups, ran in the Ealing Mini Mile for Team Amara.

💛 Over the six years that they have been running as Team Amara, they have raised an incredible £50,000 for children’s charities, in memory of Ariana S’s younger sister, Amara, who sadly passed away at the age of 14 months.

💛 Their fundraising has helped to support and create lasting legacies including:

- A memory tree for bereaved parents in the local hospital as well as training of staff on how to best support families

- Counselling services for bereaved parents

- A new video developed by Child Bereavement UK entitled “The Elephant in the Room” which teaches children how to talk about loss of siblings and parents in schools

- A new floor for leukaemia patients developed by the Sick Children’s Trust

- A new playground in the local park for children to laugh and play in

💛 This year they have already raised an impressive £2,300 for Pitshanger Playcentre.

👏 The school is so proud of the contribution they have made to community projects and of the team spirit they show every time they run. A huge well done from all of us in the Junior School!

The Year 6 girls at the open day were delightful – showing us around their primary school with obvious pride, and easily handled all our many and varied questions. A credit to their school!
