On Thursday 30th April, our Music department launched their new Performance Class.

Led by Ms McLaughlin and Mr Ryan, the class gave musicians an opportunity to practice performance in a safe environment, workshop feedback from their peers and have important discussions about managing anxiety and building confidence as a performer. This month, performances were given by Daisy G and Eden L-G, which sparked discussions about encouraging positive self-talk, engaging the audience and developing leadership skills when working with an accompanist.

The students created a really encouraging and positive environment and Daisy and Eden both ended the class seeming more confident.
