NHEHS Bursaries and Partnerships Impact Report 2025-26
We are excited to announce the publication of our third Impact Report, detailing the progress over the past 12 months of our 150th Anniversary Bursary Appeal, outlining our ambitions for the future, and sharing information about our School Partnerships.
Headlines from the Report:
- Our 150th Anniversary Appeal reaches its three targets. Thank you to all of our parents, alumnae, former parents and former staff who made, and – through our regular giving programmes – continue to make it happen.
- Our ‘Leavers of 2025’ successfully take up the baton from previous years and move closer to creating a second Sixth Form 95%+ bursary award. Thank you!
- Donating via Parent Pay option proves a popular option for current parents, particularly when giving for the first time
- We have linked with over 30 local schools with hundreds of their students benefitting from our Partnership Programme
Please see the foot of this page to read the report in full.
Thank you to those of you whose generosity is clearly evidenced in this report; the figures are a testament to the commitment that many of you have made to give more young women the experience of an aspirational yet grounded NHEHS education.
Now that all three of our 150th anniversary fundraising goals have been met, we have reflected on what is achievable in the future. While over two-thirds of the funds raised have come in since our Appeal launched in 2022, the first donation on which it relied was made in 1986. We simply can’t wait another forty years before we can offer an additional young woman a fully funded place.
While our Leavers’ Appeal which fundraises for Sixth Form bursaries will continue as it is, to accelerate our impact, we have decided to move away from running two separate Year 7+ bursary campaigns, the OGA Alumnae Appeal and the Parents’ Appeal. Going forward, we will combine these two campaigns into a single, unified NHEHS Bursary Appeal which we are asking our entire community to support. By channelling our resources in this way, and, provided we maintain and grow our support across all groups, we will be able to create the next NHEHS full Senior School bursary much faster. Everyone makes a difference.
If you have not already contributed or have and now would like to extend your support, please follow the links below and help give a student like Noor an educational opportunity she could have otherwise not have dreamt of.
‘Before I came to NHEHS my teachers were great but purely focused on getting us to pass our exams, to reach a certain level. Here, the teachers give you so much support; they really care. You are encouraged to go as far as you want to. Being at NHEHS has made me realise that there isn’t a limit on what I can achieve.’
