NHEHS Bursaries & Partnerships Impact Report 2024-25

We are excited to announce the publication of our second Impact Report, detailing the progress of our 150th Anniversary Bursary Appeal and sharing information about our School Partnerships.

Headlines from the Report:

  • A record-breaking 474 people donated to our Bursary Appeal last year (up from 150 in 2023).
  • Our Parents smashed their target to launch a new 150th Anniversary Senior School bursary award (up from 70% in 2023), and a young woman, who otherwise could not have dreamed of coming here, will join our school community in September 2025.
  • Our Alumnae, Former Parents and Staff gave generously and are now 82% of the way towards launching their new 150th Anniversary Senior School full bursary, (up from 66% in 2023), with just £31,951 still outstanding.
  • Our Leavers of 2025 donated £17,563 from their daughters’ deposits to kick start funding for our second Leavers’ Sixth Form full bursary.
  •  A fabulous £55,154 was donated on our Giving Day, a first for NHEHS and for the GDST.
  • We have linked with 26 local maintained schools with over 910 benefitting from our Partnership Programme, (up from 22 and 800 in 2023)

Please see the foot of this page to read the report in full.

Giving transforms lives

Thank you to those of you whose generosity is clearly evidenced in this report; the figures are a testament to the commitment that many of you have made to give more young women the experience of an aspirational yet grounded NHEHS education.

If you have not already contributed or have and now would like to extend your support, please follow the links below and help give a student like Noor an educational opportunity she could have otherwise not have dreamt of.

‘Before I came to NHEHS my teachers were great but purely focused on getting us to pass our exams, to reach a certain level. Here, the teachers give you so much support; they really care. You are encouraged to go as far as you want to.  Being at NHEHS has made me realise that there isn’t a limit on what I can achieve.’

Noor Ahmed, Class of 2022, former transformational bursary student
