NHEHS Charity Fashion Show – Masterpiece: Art into Fashion |18th March 2026

By Mrs Fisher-Black, Head of Art

Our theme this year is Masterpiece: Art into Fashion and our Year 12 Art Representatives are proud to support Dress for Success. This charity empowers unemployed and underemployed women by providing career coaching, skills training, professional clothing,  and ongoing support. By helping women secure employment and build confidence, Dress for Success promotes long-term financial independence and social mobility.

The Art Department is incredibly proud of all girls involved for both their passion and determination to coordinate this event; the planning has been largely self-led and our Art Representatives have put a great deal of work into providing this opportunity for the girls in all year groups to  be able to take part in this creative venture and raise money for such a good cause.

This is a particularly exciting event for our Year 9 artists. In lessons, they have been busily creating costumes, embellishing garments, and designing larger than life accessories based on iconic artworks. Their enthusiasm is infectious and has been in no small part inspired by our trip to The Barbican’s fantastic ‘Dirty Looks’ exhibition back in January.

Tickets for the show will cost £10 for children and £15.50 for friends and family and can be purchased via Parentpay by searching for ‘Charity Fashion Show March 2026’. We have a record number of girls involved this year and these tickets sell out very quickly! We recommend you buy your tickets as soon as possible!

So put this date into your diaries, it promises to be a fun evening with guest judges and a specially designed set for the runway.
