NHEHS Named in The Cricketer’s Top 20 Cricketing All Girls Schools in the Country!

We’re excited to announce that we’ve been named in The Cricketer’s top 20 cricketing all girls schools in the country for 2025!

The annual guide lists the top 100 senior schools, top 50 prep and junior schools and top 20 all-girls schools that have the best cricket provision and this is the third year we’ve been included in the exclusive list!

Entries were judged against an extensive set of criteria, including a compelling commitment to cricket in the curriculum, facilities, fixtures and coaching.

We currently have U12, U13, U14, and U15 hard ball cricket teams and U10, U11, U12, U13, and U14 soft ball cricket teams. Students attend a weekly after-school session in the winter and spring terms. In the summer term, we offer three morning sessions, as well as one after-school session, to approximately 70 cricketers.

As well as local fixtures, teams compete in the Lady Taverners indoor cricket tournament held at Lord’s Cricket Ground as well as the Middlesex Schools Hardball Cup, the School Sports Magazine national competition and the GDST Hardball competition.

This year is the 10th edition of the Schools Guide, with the all-girls school section being created in partnership with Lydia Greenway and Cricket for Girls. The Cricketer Schools Guide 2025 will be included as a prestigious supplement printed alongside the December issue of The Cricketer (newsstand November 22nd). The guide will also be published on thecricketer.com throughout the year.
