In a special end of term edition of Classics Masterclass, our weekly lunchtime club, (through which we encourage our Year 10 to 13 students to expand their knowledge and understanding of the Classical world as well as give their own presentations on classical topics of interest), Dr Nelson joined us remotely from St Hilda’s College, Oxford University.

His talk on “All the world’s a stage” Dionysus, Drama and Athens’ was well received by the students and gave plenty of food for thought as well providing for those interested and particularly those writing their personal statements a brilliant, contemporary summer holiday reading list.
