Second Session of GreenSTEM Project
Last week saw the second session of our GreenSTEM project for Year 12s from NHEHS, Greenford High School, Ellen Wilkinson School for Girls, and Dormers Wells High School. The project takes place over four sessions, with students researching and exploring solutions to global climate challenges. Students are given the opportunity to take on STEM research in small collaborative groups, working with Doctoral research scientists Ariane and Ugo from Imperial College London.
In this session, the students were introduced to critical thinking in a university setting and they also explored academic scientific journals. Students then went to their individual groups and started working on their research.
Looking forward to the next session in January!
