Sixth Form bonding day
For the recent Sixth Form bonding day, Year 12 and 13 took part in three activities, each focussed on their Sixth Form environment and the School values. In mixed-year tutor groups they worked on the Sixth Form garden spaces, clearing flowerbeds, planting 1000 crocuses and border plants and setting up an irrigation system. They worked on a design brief for the new Sixth Form study space to enhance their working areas before further works take place next summer. Lastly, they were commissioned to produce artworks using watercolour, soft pastels or acrylics on the theme of one of the school values. Their framed pieces on Ambition, Courage, Curiousity, Integrity and Humanity are now featured throughout the Sixth Form Block. The girls were in excellent spirits and engaged fully with getting to know each other better while developing agency over their shared spaces.
