Students Celebrate As Best Ever A Level Results Announced

A Level students at Notting Hill & Ealing High School were centre stage today to receive their grades, with an excellent set of results, with 49% of entries at A* and 80% of entries graded A* or A.

Despite national press coverage of the squeeze on university places,  90% of the cohort achieved their university offers. We are delighted that students are heading off to study a wide and ambitious range of courses. These include Computer Science at Caltech and the University of Cambridge, Medicine at Imperial College and the University of Cambridge, as well as Law, Psychology, Music and Dance.

Commenting on this year’s outcomes, Matthew Shoults, the Headmaster:

“I am absolutely delighted for our students, for such excellent results.  They’ve shown such tenacity and energy in the last two years; despite the restrictions of the Covid period, their teachers have inspired them and supported them to secure such outstanding grades. What’s also extremely pleasing is the great range of choices our students are making;.  I wish them every  success with their next steps and I applaud their hard work, enthusiasm and ambition”.

Head Girl, Li An, who will be heading to the University of Oxford to read Classics said “a huge thank you to all of our amazing teachers. I’m so happy and proud of everyone in our year. Will miss you all so much!”
