"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. Successful Launch of BUDS 2025 with 11 Ealing Primary Schools

The launch of our BUDS 2025 programme got off to a flying start on Saturday as we welcomed over 50 Year 5 pupils from 11 local primary schools – Ark Priory Primary Academy, Christ the Saviour CoE Primary School, Fielding Primary School, Hobbayne Primary School, Holy Family Catholic Primary School, Montpelier Primary School, North Ealing Primary School, Selborne Primary School, St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School, Stanhope Primary School and West Acton Primary School.

BUDS is our Saturday enrichment programme working with primary schools in Ealing, aimed at Building Understanding, Developing Skills in Gifted and Talented Year 5 pupils from local primary schools.

Through the three main sessions – Creative Thinking, Public Speaking/Drama and STEM – pupils will learn the soft skills required to be able to think creatively, solve problems, and express their own ideas.

Huge thanks to everyone for coming and to our staff involved in the set up and running of the sessions, plus our Sixth Formers for helping out.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again here at NHEHS for the next session on February 8th!
