The Physics of Rollercoasters at Thorpe Park!

Last week our A Level Physics students got to research first-hand what makes a great roller coaster at Thorpe Park!
They explored the Physics exploited by engineers in designing roller coasters such as the Swarm and Hyperia, including potential and kinetic energy, g-force calculations and resistive forces.
While queuing they completed extensive Physics tasks before, of course, enjoying the rides themselves!
