"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Track & Field Cup County Round 2026

On Tuesday 12th May, the NHEHS Junior and Inter athletes travelled to Lee Valley Athletics Centre to participate in the first round of the Track & Field Cup.

The inter team started off with their field events, putting on a dominant display across the various disciplines. Highlights included Cecily jumping 1.47m in the high jump and Isla recording 4.75m in the long jump.

The juniors took to the track, with Lara scoring 18 points in the 75m hurdles, Jasmine scoring 20 points in her 200m race, while the big scorers in the morning were Emilia in the 800m, and Isabella and Maya who ran the 1500m, each scoring 25 points!

After the lunch break, the team switched events. The juniors showed some promising displays in the high jump with Anna and Flora both scoring 15+ points. Many of the athletes performed strongly.

However, the inter team continued with their impressive races on the track, with Ada, Erin, Ella, Sofia and Alice all scoring 20 plus points in their events. The standout performance of the day went to Maria in the 1500m – she ran a blistering 4.51 and scored a phenomenal 30 points!

The inter team finished 1st in their age group, with 418 total points, while the junior team finished 3rd with 306 points. We were delighted to hear that our Inter team qualified for the A Regional Final, while the junior team made the B North Final.
