The U18 hockey team had a fantastic overnight trip up to Nottingham to play in the U18 GDST Hockey tournament on Tuesday 29th September.

The team started their group matches against Wimbledon U16, with an early goal by Ella. After a strong defensive effort, a last-minute goal by Wimbledon ended the game in a 1-1 draw.

The next two games against Norwich and Streatham & Clapham were goalless draws, and the final group match was a narrow 1-0 loss against Oxford, despite several attacking attempts.

The team finished third in the group and went to the semi-finals of the plate section. After a thrilling game with several attempts at goal, it finished goalless. The team then had to face penalty shuffles, with a narrow 3-2 loss in the end.

The team finished fifth in the plate section and despite some narrow losses, the team had high spirits throughout the tournament, ensuring the music was always on during warm ups and the coach journey, and most importantly, having Notty on the sidelines to cheer on the team!
