We are U15 National Waterpolo Champions 2025!

Huge congratulations to our U15 Waterpolo team on winning the ESSA (English Schools Swimming Association) National Finals at Marlborough yesterday!

En route to the final the team overcame Colfe’s School in a tough first match by 5 goals to 3 before defeating Kesteven and Grantham School 7-1. Next up was Alleyn’s School who we beat convincingly 4-0.

In the final we faced Bolton School, who we had lost to in previous national finals. This time, however, our team won with our best performance of the day in winning by 4 goals to 1 to be crowned national champions!

Mr Bent and coach Claudio were very pleased with the performances and results, saying “the team did really well to keep their heads during all the matches and improved with every game.”

Well done to : Emily B, Aneira B, Romily C, Iskra CP, Manpreet G (Captain), Lara R, Alice N, Nikhita S-K, Ella S, Lydia T, Alice W-B, Abi F, Layla R

2025 is the first year we have qualified in all three age groups for the national finals – U13, U15 and U18. Our U18s will be in action at the Sandwell Aquatic Centre in Birmingham on Monday 24th March, where several of our winning U15 team will be taking part. Our U13s will be competing in their finals on May 8th at Northampton School for Boys.

Good luck to our U13s on Monday!
