We were delighted to host our German penpals at the school this week.

The visit started on Tuesday with morning introductions and an icebreaker Bingo game, followed by an afternoon of dodgeball and musical chairs. On Wednesday and Thursday, our guests joined regular morning lessons to experience a typical school day. The week wrapped up on Thursday afternoon with a farewell lunch in the canteen, where students exchanged contact details and said their goodbyes.

A big thank you to everyone who made our visitors feel at home. The exchange continues in July, when our Year 8 students travel to Karlsruhe for their MFL trip to meet their own penpals. Read about our first exchange visit to Germany from 2024.
