What a First Week for Year 7!

It’s been a busy (but fun!) week for Year 7 since their first day at school last Thursday 5 September. Since then, they have been:
- Smashing their pre-season sports training at Trailfinders
- Enjoying lunch with their “Big Sisters” who were on hand to give helpful tips and great advice on the first few weeks at school
- Exploring the Senior School (& sometimes getting lost) during the Treasure Hunt
- Signing up for a huge range of co-curricular clubs at the Co-Curricular Fair
- Trialling for our sports teams (netball, hockey, waterpolo)
And of course, making lots of new friends!
Tomorrow they are headed to Thames Young Mariners for a bonding day to get to know each other and make new friends through a range of fun outdoor activities including kayaking and raft building!
And we are looking forward to two more upcoming events – welcoming our Year 7 parents into school for our Year 7 Parents’ Reception next week and on 3rd October, when our Year 7 musicians will get the opportunity to perform in our New Girls Concert.
