On Monday 28th September, as part of their Enrichment offering, Year 10 students hosted Mencap service users to NHEHS for a little Autumn fair. It was lovely to welcome back guests who have visited on previous occasions and who were looking forward to returning. The Year 10 students engaged our visitors well in Autumn crafts and colouring, biscuit decorating and playdo (which was especially popular) and Lego building. Lovely conversations were held with our guests over what they had been doing during their summer holidays and one guest’s deeper interest in aviation. At the end of the afternoon, the Year 10s and our guests all enjoyed singing some favourite songs, in particular Abba. We are looking forward to the group returning again for a Christmas fair.
