Year 13 Enjoy Q&A with Leading Illustrator Quique Palomo

By Ms Barbosa, Head of Spanish

Quique Palomo spoke to our A-level students about his collaboration with Ian Gibson, a prominent biographer and historian, on the graphic novel Vida y Muerte de Federico García Lorca, which provided valuable insights into Lorca’s life and work. He also shared details about his creative process, as well as the research and close partnership with Ian Gibson that went into illustrating the Lorca’s life.

This was an especially inspiring moment, as the theme of this Week of Languages is “Legends and Histories,” and Quique’s work brought a legendary figure like Lorca to life for our students.
