Year 13 Students Secure Prestigious University Offers for Highly Competitive Courses
By Mrs Collins, Director of University Admissions
With the offer deadline still weeks away, our current Year 13s hold very strong university offers so far, with our candidates this year again receiving offers for highly competitive courses at leading universities across the UK and abroad.
Eleven of our students have offers from Cambridge or Oxford, to read subjects ranging from Maths, Economics and Natural Sciences, to English, Classics and History.
Each cohort has its unique qualities, and our role is to help our pupils identify their path and support them in getting there. Two girls hold offers for the prestigious Kings College, London—War Studies and History course, while another student holds five offers from top institutions for her chosen course of Equine Business Management.
This year includes Computer Scientists alongside Medicine applicants and a small army of Classicists. They are joined by an Architect, a Marine Biologist and a Drama student. We pride ourselves in catering to each girl’s strengths and ambitions, to help her go to the best place for her.
Our student with a passion to be a primary school teacher is all set to pursue her chosen profession alongside her peer group applying for Medicine and a range of Engineering courses, from Civil and Mechanical to Motorsport Engineering.
International Universities are growing in popularity and this year we have students applying to Ireland, Germany, Singapore.
Our Linguists are set to study Russian, Arabic, Spanish and French. With a duo of Art Foundation applicants and a Liberal Artist alongside our Historians, Psychologists and English students, we look forward to all of them thriving in their future places of study.
