Year 5 and 6 Chamber Choir Hits the High Notes at Wembley Arena with Young Voices
Last night our Year 5 and 6 Chamber Choir had the incredible experience of singing at Wembley Arena! As part of the Young Voices concert, they performed pop and rock hits with over 4600 children from primary schools across the country.
On the day of the concert, the choirs rehearsed together for the first time and prepared a breathtaking performance featuring a special guest artists and street dance from the YV dance troupe, set off by fantastic sound and light technology.
The children raised the roof when special guest artists MC Grammar, award-winning teacher turned rapper and social media sensation, and Tommy Blaise, lead singer of BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s band for 20 years, joined the stage. Special guest Souparnika Nair, famous for her showstopping audition on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent 2020 at the age of 10, made a big impact with her rendition of ‘Speechless’ from the film Aladdin and revealed she had sung in a Young Voices concert seven years ago.
The Young Voices Concerts take place each year in January and February. With unforgettable performances in prestigious arenas, Young Voices offers children a chance to shine and create lifelong memories.
The excitement and energy in the arena certainly made for an unforgettable night. Thanks to Mr Sole for all his hard work and all the NHEHS staff who made this trip possible.
