Year 6 Joins 900 Children for Inspiring Concert for Barnardo’s at the Royal Albert Hall
Our Year 6 girls had an unforgettable evening singing at the Barnardo’s Young Supporters Concert at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday.
They joined more than 900 children from 23 school choirs across the UK for a night of inspiring music, accompanied by the world-renowned Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Artistic Director Benjamin Pope.
Hosted by Barnardo’s President, broadcaster and journalist Natasha Kaplinsky OBE, the concert featured a vibrant mix of popular and classical pieces, all in support of Barnardo’s Christmas Poverty campaign. The event helps raise vital funds for children, young people and families most in need—especially at a time when the cost-of-living crisis continues to bite.
It was a truly special night for our girls and their parents. A huge thank you to Mr Sole and the Junior School team for making NHEHS part of this wonderful experience.
