Today, Year 7 enjoyed a lively Careers Day in the main hall.  Ms  Postlethwaite, Head of Careers, shared her expert tips on structuring engaging presentations and the “do’s and don’ts” of slide design.

Our students learned how to:

• Hook an audience from the very beginning
• Design slides that really support a story
• Use notecards effectively

Then the Year 7s delivered their presentations to their table groups among enthusiastic discussions and heated debates.  Some of the presentation topics included: Why Arsenal is the best football team, black holes, technology, research in music and travelling. Well done to Year 7!
