Year 7s Impress at New Girls’ Concert

The annual New Girls’ Concert, which showcases musicians in Year 7, was held last week on Thursday 3rd October.
There were several impressive performances from pianists, singers, violinists, ending with an energetic solo on electric guitar. This was the first time that many of the performers had played in front of an audience at NHEHS, but they all performed with confidence and flair. The concert concluded with each student receiving a certificate of participation and constructive feedback from Ms McLaughlin, the Musician in Residence, to guide them in upcoming performances and exams.
