On Thursday 16th October 2025, Year 8 enjoyed taking part in an additional Art session as part of the Year 8 curriculum Art Day. This day was designed to support Year 8 as they begin their Creative Arts carousel this year.

Students took part in an additional session inspired by the Big Draw theme ‘Drawn Together’. Through a textiles activity linked to their project and drawing inspiration from the textile Artist Lucy Sparrow, they explored collaborative creativity, making felt sushi, burgers and sweet treats, culminating in a group installation titled ‘A Feast for Your Eyes’.
