Our Year 8s were thrilled to receive letters from their new friends at Helmholtz Gymnasium in Karlsruhe last week!

The students swapped stories about their hobbies, school life, families and more. They’ve already discovered plenty of common ground, from a love of dogs and drawing to music (shout outs to Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, One Direction and Ed Sheeran)!

This partnership has been flourishing since 2023. We are looking forward to welcoming our German friends to London in late June, before over 20 of our own students travel to Karlsruhe in July for their Year 8 MFL trip. We can’t wait for them to meet in person!
