Year 9 French Students Enjoy Sun-Soaked Day in Lille

On Saturday, our Year 9 French students made the most of a beautiful summer’s day in the beautiful French city of Lille!
After hopping on the Eurostar from St Pancras bright and early, we explored everything from Monet and Picasso masterpieces at the Musée des Beaux-Arts to chatting with locals in the main square as we put our French into practice.
Lunch was amazing at the charming Au Paon d’Or brasserie, followed by lovely sweet treats from the historic Pâtisserie Meert.
There was even time for a little shopping before heading back to London!
