Year 9s Take Part in the National Language Competition
By Sophia, Zara, Chloe and Romilly, Year 9
Over one week, we participated in the NLC (National Language Competition) in groups of four.
It was really enjoyable and we loved taking part in this competition because it challenged us to think in different ways and utilise the skills we have learnt from the MFLs we study at school. What we found interesting was how the different subjects and languages we take change our understanding of the challenges. It was an extremely rewarding process and helped us improve in collaborating, logical thinking and problem solving.
Overall, we found the NLC to be a fun and exciting new opportunity and we especially enjoyed working together in a team to complete each of the challenges.
