"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Years 8 & 9 Netball Teams Compete in GSA Tournament at Condover Hall

Last weekend our Year 8 and 9 netball teams travelled to Condover Hall in Shropshire for the annual GSA (Girls’ School Association) Tournament. Our Year 9s came third overall in the Trophy while our Year 8 team made the cup (second) group, but were unable to play due to the rain on the Sunday.

By Cecily H, Year 8

Our two night stay at Condover was full of cooperation, determination and respect. The coach ride there was full of laughter, chatting and sweets! The first day of netball was exciting as our under 13s were off site; they won three matches and lost three with one of them being incredibly close. In the evenings, many fun activities took place such as; tunnelling, laser maze and zip lining.

On the second day, due to heavy rain, our matches were cancelled but that didn’t stop our under 14 team from playing incredibly well inside. Many thanks to sports staff for giving us this opportunity, we have many joyful memories that we will look back on in the future.
