Junior School Class Art Auction in support of our Parents’ 150th Anniversary Appeal, Friday 17th March to Monday 20th March 2023

Thank you for your interest in the Junior School Art Auction.

All money raised will go towards our appeal to create a new, transformational bursary as the legacy of the School’s 150th birthday. From our earliest years, there were parents who recognised that provision needed to be made for those talented girls for whom a NHEHS education was beyond reach. We are proud of our philanthropic roots and the diverse and meritocratic school culture it has created. Our 150th birthday is an opportunity to demonstrate our current community’s commitment to diversity, and our belief that NHEHS should be accessible to girls with the talent but not the means to come to the school.

Your daughter’s art is being sold in an online auction to help girls of tomorrow who otherwise couldn’t experience an NHEHS education.

Please find below the latest amounts pledged for each piece of artwork. Reception and Yr 1-4 artwork comes in a removeable frame. To place an initial bid, please click  https://forms.gle/QeLnUnkCJqfgpTez7. To increase your bid, either complete a new form or click edit on your initial bid confirmation email. Bids close on Monday 20th March at 9pm. Highest bidder wins the artwork.

Thank you for supporting our bursary campaign.

‘I came by the phrase ‘safe space; brave space’ the other day – I don’t remember the context – but that is what NHEHS was for me. The NHEHS art teachers who taught me in the Art Studio were very supportive. There I found stability and safety as well as affirmation of my potential. They opened me up to the possibilities of what I could achieve.’
