Receiving a bursary has enabled our daughter to access an all-encompassing education, allowing her to thrive and achieve her maximum potential.

We want to offer the brightest students the chance of joining our community.

Ensuring that talented and academically gifted girls from all backgrounds have access to education at Notting Hill & Ealing High School is integral to the school’s vision and ethos. Our students, staff, parents and alumnae represent all backgrounds and reflect the culture and community of our school. We know bursaries change lives and benefit the whole school community. Bursaries are available at both 11+ and 16+.

We want to offer the brightest students the chance of joining our community regardless of their parents’ ability to pay school fees, so we encourage you to apply for one of our means tested bursaries in the Senior School on entry to Year 7 and the Sixth Form. We currently have 45 bursary students in the senior school with most receiving substantial awards in the region of 90-100% of their fees. Please find more information on NHEHS Bursaries.

Bursaries are awarded according to family circumstances and academic performance, as shown in the entrance test. They are means tested and independently assessed by the GDST. Take a look at the GDST Bursary Programme brochure and there is more information on the GDST website.

Awards range from 30% to 100% and in addition to the fees include allowances for uniform, lunches, travel and some trips. If you decide to apply we will ask you to indicate this on the NHEHS Registration Form.  We will then send you individual login details and an online form to complete. We know that applying for a bursary can be a confusing experience, and we are here to make it as easy as possible.

Our Registrar, Ms Lauren Whitaker-Smith, is always happy to help if you have any questions about bursaries. Please do contact her at l.smith@nhehs.gdst.net or on 020 8991 2165.
