25 Musicians Perform in Spring Tea Time Concert Ahead of ABRSM Exams

By Miss Goodsell, Director of Music

It was great to see so many performers at our most recent Tea Time concert held on 22nd February. These concerts are informal ones, designed so that students due to take their ABRSM exams can experience the thrill of some nerves prior to their exam.

A fantastic 25 students performed, with a great standard throughout. Imogen impressed with her performance of ‘A Child’s Prayer,’ Minna continued the run of great vocal performances with ‘Where the Bee Sucks’ and later in the programme Mina sang ‘Numb Little Bug’ with great confidence and style. Pianists Caterina, Petra and Ira all gave very dynamic and musical performances and Katerina performed ‘Reverie’ by Debussy with real musicality. Dana’s Grade 8 ‘Hypnosis’ was magical and very emotive.

Well done to all those who performed and we wish them well in their grade exams.
