A Greek Inspired Day for Year 3

Year 3 stepped back in time to Ancient Greece as part of the fabulous finish to their Ancient Splendours Integrated Curriculum topic!
Looking the part in their Ancient Greek clothing, which they had recently researched, the Year 3s spent the morning making headdresses, designing and creating their own mosaic tiles, carving soap and using clay to make charm bracelets.
We’re also looking forward to our annual Year 3 House Olympics on the astro next week as the finale to the term! Girls will be competing in their Houses as Athenians, Spartans, Corinthians & Argives (residents of Argos) in various competitions including running backwards, javelin and Greek wrestling NHEHS-style!
